We want people to actually talk again.

Students sitting on the steps outside school, one talking and the others listening

Hi,

under a post about something that matters, the most liked comment is almost always an insult, and the reasoning sits at the bottom with two likes. The people writing there aren’t worse than us: those places reward whoever shouts, so we all shout.

feelya. was born in a school assembly. Three people at the mic for two hours, four hundred in silence. Matteo was 16 and one of the four hundred. He wondered what would happen if everyone spoke, in turn, and nobody could talk over anyone.

The rules came from there: one person speaks at a time, attack ideas and never people, an opinion can’t be reported. And three promises: we won’t only show you people who agree with you, we won’t reward whoever shouts, we won’t tell you what to think.

We’re at the beginning and we’ll get some things wrong. When we do, tell us. If you’d like to try it among the first, we’ll keep you a seat.

I’m in high school and I’ve always argued about everything. I started feelya. in 2023, out of my school’s assemblies.

I live in Syracuse, Sicily, and I’ve been writing code since I was a kid. As a student rep I used to run the school assemblies. At feelya. I build the app.

I’m from Perugia and I’ve been building products since I was 8. I come from marketing, and on Saturday nights I always end up arguing with anyone.

A generation talking to each other again.
